PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Chief Master Sergeant John Harris, U.S. Air Force – Air National Guard (Ret.) supports clients with his more than 25 years of senior expertise across Joint operations and command, control, and communications operations. He delivers extensive knowledge and experience in natural disaster response, relief, and recovery, continuity of operations, and military support to civil authorities, and has supported the Department of Defense (DoD) STARBASE and National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Programs (NGYCP) in Louisiana.
Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Chief Master Sergeant Harris served in U.S. Air Force – Air National Guard (USAF-ANG) senior leadership roles, including as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller, Command Chief Master Sergeant, and as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to The Adjutant General of the State of Louisiana. He served as the focal point for all commodity and supply distribution in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, as Senior Operations Manager in support of the Florida League of Cities after Hurricane Irma, and supported numerous other natural disaster operations in Central and North America, including as a Senior Analyst in support of FEMA.
In addition to his work at The SPECTRUM Group, Chief Master Sergeant Harris serves in the education arena, supplying outreach and marketing support to civilian universities. He also supports the Department of Labor’s Employment Workshop curriculum, and serves as a facilitator to the DoD’s Transition Assistance Program.
