Dr. Teresa Pohlman, SES (Ret.) Joins The SPECTRUM Group

Alexandria, Va. – August 19, 2025 – The SPECTRUM Group (TSG) is pleased to announce that Dr. Teresa Pohlman, SES (Ret.) has joined its firm. Dr. Pohlman supports clients in infrastructure and resilience planning domains, with a focus on engineering, environmental, energy, and sustainability domains of construction and real property management. She supports clients in public and private sector projects, leveraging her more than 35 years of executive-level leadership directing defense, homeland security, and security programs.

Prior to joining TSG, Dr. Pohlman served as the Executive Director for Sustainability and Environmental Programs at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she established and led enterprise-wide initiatives in resilience, energy, and environmental policy. Earlier, as the Tenant Activities Group Leader for the Pentagon Renovation Office, she led strategic planning and stakeholder integration for the Pentagon’s post-9/11 redesign and force protection.

Earlier, Dr. Pohlman served as Chief of the Environmental Division in the Office of the Civil Engineer at U.S. Air Force (USAF) Headquarters, where she managed global environmental programs and international agreements. She also previously served as major program manager for the USAF Base Conversion Agency, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Mare Island Naval Shipyard, and Naval Coastal Systems Center (NCSC).
