Alexandria, Va. – The SPECTRUM Group’s Lieutenant General David Huntoon, U.S. Army (Ret.) and Major General George Close, U.S. Army (Ret.) shared their thoughts on “Leading Through Uncertainty” in a webinar May 29, 2020. In the context of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the ability to navigate ambiguity and lead strategically is more crucial for success now than ever.

Huntoon and Close, together with Dr. Jared Peatman, presented and were interviewed by Ron Lamb, CEO of Daxko, the webinar series sponsor. They discussed experiences and qualities that can translate from the battlefield to the current reality of leading through the ambiguity of a global pandemic, drawing from experiences in their own careers as well as their studies of historic leaders and their challenges.

General Close is the President of The SPECTRUM Group and leads SPECTRUM’s Security Center of Excellence. General Huntoon leads SPECTRUM Advantage, The SPECTRUM Group’s executive leadership training program. Together, they have supported several clients in developing leadership excellence in their organizations through SPECTRUM Advantage’s staff ride program, leadership trainings, and customized programs for US and international entities.
