PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
General Boyd supports clients in defense, international security, and crisis response domains, drawing on more than three decades of leadership in U.S. Army, Army National Guard, and NATO commands. A seasoned operational and strategic leader, he has extensive experience in multinational operations and partnerships across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and delivers strategic insights to enable client success in complex international environments.
General Boyd’s 36-year U.S. Army and Army National Guard career culminated in his serving as Director of Operations and Intelligence at NATO Joint Force Command in The Netherlands, where he led operational planning, readiness, and crisis response for NATO forces. Previously, in Stuttgart, Germany, he served as the Senior Director of Training and Exercises for U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), where he led large-scale multinational training events, and as Deputy Director of Partnerships for USEUCOM, where he directed engagement strategies across 51 European, Eurasian, and other U.S. partner nations.
Earlier, General Boyd served as Chief of Staff for NATO Kosovo Force (KFOR), where he managed staff operations, stability, and security operations during a critical period in the Balkans. He also previously served as Special Assistant to the Director of the Army National Guard Bureau, a role in which he advanced force readiness and integration initiatives.
