PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

General Catalanotti supports clients with his extensive expertise in international security, leadership, and multilateral relations policy and training. He delivers significant experience in planning and executing tailored security and leadership training to foster key capabilities for more than 15 U.S. partner nations, and in building bilateral and multilateral relations in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, General Catalanotti served as Senior Advisor, Office of the Secretary of Defense (Policy). Previously, he worked in the defense industry and was based out of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

General Catalanotti served a 35-year U.S. Army career which included commanding at every level from platoon to division. In his last assignment, he served as Director of Strategic Exercises and Training for U.S. Central Command, with responsibility for planning and executing training and exercises for 16 partner nations, and for building bilateral and multinational relations in the Middle East and Central Asia. He previously served as Senior Advisor and Program Manager, Security Assistance Organization (SAO) to the Ministry of Interior, KSA, with responsibility for helping shape bilateral relations and policy as an interagency partner with the U.S. Ambassador to the KSA and the Department of State. General Catalanotti also previously commanded Taji Base, the largest Iraqi Base under U.S. Central Command.

In addition to his work at TSG, General Catalanotti holds the position of Honorary Professor and Senior Fellow of Military Science at Old Dominion University/Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) in Norfolk, Virginia. He also serves on several veterans advisory council Boards of Directors. General Catalanotti received his Army ROTC Commission from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
