PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Griffin is a results-oriented lobbyist who helps her clients achieve their objectives through effective engagement with the U.S. Congress and with other government officials.

As a lobbyist, and as a key member of The SPECTRUM Group’s Government Relations team, Ms. Griffin delivers more than 30 years of experience successfully designing and implementing legislative and other outreach strategies for sustained client success. Her work includes helping generate delivery of a wide variety of products and services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies for emerging small businesses, middle market innovators, and most of the largest U.S. defense contractors.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Ms. Griffin was an owner and partner at MGB Ltd. She executed business development, strategic planning and partnering, program and contract management, and government customer liaison as the company commercialized technology developed by a U.S. national lab, including designing and selling products and R&D customization services to the U.S. military and other government customers. In this role, Ms. Griffin built significant insight into the needs and challenges of government contractors and would-be government contractors, which she brings to her work representing organizations’ interests to the U.S. Congress and government agencies.

Previously, Ms. Griffin served on Capitol Hill as a legislative specialist on defense to a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC). As a key advisor on defense and foreign policy issues, she specialized in programs and policy related to weapons systems research and development (R&D), combat readiness, maintenance and repair depots, and chemical weapons arms control and destruction.
