Commander Reed supports clients at The SPECTRUM Group by providing strategic guidance in government transformation, defense, information technology, organizational leadership, and business development. Drawing on more than two decades of military service and senior executive experience in both state government and the private sector, she advises clients on strategic planning, enterprise modernization, and operational excellence across complex public-sector organizations.
Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Commander Reed served as the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Deputy Secretary of Administration and Veterans and Defense Affairs, where she provided executive oversight of multiple state agencies responsible for information technology, elections, human resources, general services, data governance, veterans services, and military affairs. Earlier, she served as a Client Delivery Executive with Electronic Data Systems, supporting U.S. Air Force programs and leading enterprise technology delivery and client engagement initiatives.
Commander Reed completed a distinguished 21-year career in the United States Navy, retiring as a Commander. Throughout her naval career, she held a series of senior leadership and technical positions leveraging her expertise in enterprise information technology, legislative affairs, systems engineering, and organizational transformation.
