PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Deimel supports clients in organizational transformation, corporate growth, and market penetration, leveraging his deep background in Army, manufacturing, and strategic management domains. He has helped clients large and small, including startups, smaller portfolio companies, middle-market entities, and public-private partnerships, with efforts including critical path analysis, delivering efficient, focused plans and strategies through strategic management techniques and metrics-based analyses that align business operations with strategic outcomes.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Mr. Deimel served a 27-year U.S. Army career, culminating in his serving as a senior strategist and planner for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and as a National War College Department Chair. He served in several military assignments drafting strategy, supervising strategists, and teaching strategic design across the U.S. government. Mr. Deimel also worked extensively as an external evaluator, advisor, coach, and trainer for both U.S. and U.S. partner nation military entities. His work also included supervising and expanding four Army workforce development programs in support of Army organization business transformation efforts. Across several of his Army roles, Mr. Deimel oversaw and supported the development of executive leaders across the U.S. government, and was awarded the U.S. Army’s Douglas MacArthur Award for Leadership Excellence.

Mr. Deimel is a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional and is a trained negotiator certified in conflict management.
