PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. LeGasse is a ground vehicles and advanced systems expert with extensive experience developing business and improving returns for clients across the aerospace and defense sector. Based in the Detroit area, he has worked extensively in military engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing, and in achieving Department of Defense (DoD) client requirements.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Mr. LeGasse served as Vice President for Business Development for HDT Global. There, he was capture manager for a $400M autonomous and semi-autonomous ground vehicle systems portfolio, as well as for unmanned, shelter, robotic, and vehicle heating systems for DoD, DLA, and TARDEC programs. Mr. LeGasse previously served as Technical Director, Systems Engineering for BAE Systems, where he led the 400-person systems engineering group and managed its $4B portfolio while concurrently directing the $500M amphibious and wheeled vehicle engineering team. He also held leadership and management positions at Jenoptik Advanced Systems, Pullman Industries, Sony Electronics, and General Motors. Previously, Mr. LeGasse served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain.

Mr. LeGasse is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and has a Green Belt in Design for Six Sigma. He holds two patents for mobile lift-assisted transport designs. He is a member of the Society for Automotive Engineers, IEEE, NDIA, and AUSA.
