PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Colonel Dritlein delivers extensive experience in combat vehicle acquisition programs, with expertise built from serving at U.S. Army TACOM and business development executive positions in the defense industry. He has also supported clients in several foreign military sales programs and in testing foreign materiel systems.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Colonel Dritlein served as Business Development Manager for the Merrill Technologies Group (MTG), leading their efforts in machining, fabricating and system integration in numerous industries including aerospace, defense, construction equipment, oil and wind components. Previously, he served as Business Development Manager for Autoflug Safety Systems (ASI), developing, pursuing and securing opportunities around mine blast and IED crew seat protection in military vehicles.

In his 39 years of service with the U.S. Army, Colonel Dritlein’s roles included serving as Senior Intelligence Research Specialist and Technical Analyst for U.S. Army TACOM. In both active duty and Army Reserves, he served as a commander of multiple strategic and technical intelligence organizations, and as a counterintelligence officer and military intelligence staff officer.
