Mr. Fix delivers extensive experience successfully representing U.S. and international clients in the public and private sectors on a broad range of government procurement, federal marketing, federal healthcare, contracting, legislative policy, and BRAC issues. He specializes in performing in-depth analytical, programmatic, planning, regulatory and budgetary work for clients on Capitol Hill, in the Pentagon and with other federal agencies.

Prior to joining The Spectrum Group, Mr. Fix supported a variety of clients at a Washington, D.C.-based government relations and federal marketing firm for more than 20 years, including coordinating with the House and Senate Armed Services Committees and the Defense Appropriations Subcommittees. Mr. Fix and his firm represented clients throughout the country in the 1991, 1993, 1995 and 2005 BRAC rounds, including managing and tracking clients in all programmatic, acquisition, marketing, operational and legislative areas. During the BRAC 1995 and 2005 rounds, Mr. Fix analyzed the military value of several installations and helped clients develop in-depth strategic plans to mitigate negative impacts to the installations’ surrounding regions and communities.

At The Spectrum Group, Mr. Fix supports BRAC clients with his honed skills in developing communications and legislative strategies to enhance local communities’ ability to provide long-term support to their defense investments.

As part of the Healthcare and Bio-Science Team, he supports U.S. and international clients – such as medical trade associations or member companies – in building and executing U.S. marketplace entry strategies. Additionally, Mr. Fix helps clients develop and execute marketing strategies, and complete and obtain U.S. FDA compliance and regulatory requirements to expand sales in U.S. federal and commercial marketplaces.
