Colonel Binkley is an expert in U.S. and international business development in the defense and aerospace industries, focusing on supporting strategic planning, competitive and market analysis for companies seeking strategic growth. His experience includes extensive work in military and commercial aviation and strategic planning, including a focus on Army programs. He also works with clients using his expertise supporting M&A, including performing programmatic due diligence.

Previously, Colonel Binkley served as Senior Director, Business Development for General Dynamics Armament & Technical Products (GDATP, now Tactical Systems), where he led the company’s national and international aviation and special operations armament team. He also worked as a government business development executive for Evergreen Aviation, with a focus on United Nations aviation and support missions, disaster relief operations and aircraft maintenance services. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst for SAIC, he led a team developing interactive training programs for XVIII Airborne Corps soldiers deploying on peacekeeping operations to Eastern Europe.

Colonel Binkley’s 28-year career with the U.S. Army included Special Operations aviation, aircraft modification and maintenance, safety, and personnel assessment and training. As Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of State Air Wing, he gained international counter-narcotics and FAA-certified aviation depot experience while supporting operations in Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala and Peru.
