On Thursday, February 23rd, The Spectrum Group hosted an engaging Trade Talk Luncheon featuring esteemed global strategy expert General Anthony Zinni, in partnership with The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT).
General Zinni’s talk focused on environment and security, with an emphasis on the current U.S. presidential administration and the significant impacts changing climate and environment will have on trade and diplomacy. General Zinni concluded his talk with a focus of how we will need to adapt to the diverse and critical impacts of climate change.
Following General Zinni’s talk, the floor was opened for an engaging Q&A moderated by Spectrum’s Sustainability Team Lead Ellen Wasylina. The discussion included the new administration’s stance on climate change, emerging markets’ approaches to environmental regulations, the impact of climate change on healthcare, and the U.S shift away from multilateral diplomacy.
